About Me

I am fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and a trained Human Givens & person-centred psychotherapist.

Over the years, I have helped hundreds of individuals move forwards in life by enabling my clients to let go of any old beliefs they may be holding onto.

I am a member of the The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), one of the main bodies overseeing the accreditation and registration of hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom.

I am also a member of the (CNHC) Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council which means I have met the criteria for qualified and experienced therapists and work in accordance with their ethical framework.

It also means that you as a client have access to their complaints procedure, for your protection.

In order to maintain my accreditation I continue to keep up to date with current research and guidelines and participate in at least 30 hours of professional development each year.

My Approach

Ignoring problems may feel like the only option right now.

Therapy may feel difficult but if problems are left unresolved they can suddenly become so overwhelming we can not see a way forward.

With the right support, anxiety can be reduced, depression can be lifted, fears can be eradicated, and addictive behaviours can be improved.

Effective Fast Therapy That Works

Working from the Human Givens approach, I support people to feel better and move on with life as quickly as possible.

I use a combination of practical, holistic and scientific approaches to my therapy focusing on what you need to live a mentally healthy fulfilling life.

Human Givens therapy aims to be fast, brief and effective, helping return to a healthy more comfortable way of being so they can get busy living.

Research has shown that more three quarters of clients who participated in Human Givens therapy were either symptom free or significantly improved in an average of 3 – 6 sessions, often less.

I offer practical help and powerful psychological interventions that can help you achieve your goals, and assist with a number of issues.

Lasting Positive Change

Through one to one sessions conducted with the upmost care, I will develop your trust and create a comfortable environment for you to experience lasting positive change.

Practical and forward-focused, the therapy I offer focuses on skills and understandings that you can use in the future to move on in life, rather than concentrating on, or being stuck in, what went wrong in the past.

All Human Givens therapists are taught a safe reliable effective, evidence-based method for detraumatising people, which in many cases works in just one session.

Instead of being reliant on one ‘model’ of therapy, the Human Givens approach is fluid and flexible, making use of whatever techniques and approaches will best suit each individual client.

Painful feelings such as grief, anger, shame, and fear can often be overwhelming and the thought of therapy can feel difficult. However, during a Human Givens therapy session, clients find the freedom to express themselves emotionally, and learn ways to cope with life more effectively.
