Menopause Clinic

Managing Menopause in a Changing World

The menopause may feel insignificant compared to the concerns regarding coronavirus. Our minds on other issues – how to work from home, or start to return to a new normal, the stress on your relationships, keeping others safe.

The health of you and of those around you being the priority.

But menopause symptoms will not have stopped; they may even be worse as changes in stress levels, and worries about those around us, impact our physical, mental and emotional health.

Social restrictions may make any us feel irritated; add menopause issues to the mix and life can feel exhausting and overwhelming.

There is a lot we can not change right now, but there are steps we can take to minimise the effect of menopausal symptoms.

During the menopause you may notice an increase in anxious feelings. The first step is to reduce these feelings to find some calm in the turbulent waters of hoping hormones.

Sleep can also be an issue for many women and worrying about health does not make it easier. I can help you work towards improving sleep & your well-being.

Another struggle can be a lack of concentration, poor memory sometimes losing confidence. These issues form part of a cluster of menopausal symptoms, that we can explore gently and look at getting unmet needs met.

“Stay home to save lives" has been the mantra. But at what cost to your wellbeing?

You have to look after you, so you can look after others.
